What Is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.

It is a safe, loving environment where moms have the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, and laugh together. They learn biblical principles pertaining to womanhood, parenting, and marriage.

MOPS also provides opportunities for social outings throughout the year.

2013 Meetings

We meet the 1st  Thursday of

each month January thru December from

9:30-11:30 a.m.

A typical meeting looks like this:

9:15-9:30    Childcare & Mom Check-in

9:30-10:00  Breakfast/Announcements

10:00-11:00 Speaker/Craft

11:00-11:30  Small Group Discussion

Where? We meet at Kuta International Church in Pattimura Street Legian Kuta 

This Year’s Theme

In 2012-2013, MOPS invites you to join in the learning process as together we explore:

BOLD ~ LOVING ~ SENSIBLE

This year’s theme equips mom to embrace their mothering instincts and develop their own parenting style while navigating through the myriad of daily mom decisions. Most women wonder:

 How do I decide what to do when I really don’t know what to do?

 Should I trust my intuition?

 With so much available information, how do I discern what’s best?

 What are the most important family values?

Developing a mothering strategy is some-what like playing a game - and this year’s theme is appropriately game related. Have fun being a mom!

Playing games involves being bold and taking risks, loving those in the game with us and being sensible while figuring out what works and what doesn’t.

Come join us as we explore how to play more effectively, grow and gain confidence in our abilities as a mom!

There is an Offering Box per meeting which will covers refreshments, crafts, childcare and more. You may join at any point in the year.

 Be a childcare worker (a MOPPET).

 Make a monetary donation.

 Donate snacks or craft supplies for the Moppets program.

 Suggest or be a speaker.

 Pray for MOPS moms and leaders.
